Back on WP you inquired about a book on style and I replied:

"As for texts on writing poetry, I tend to avoid them, as I'm not sure it can be taught without its lessons resulting in mechanical sounding results. I will very highly recommend, however,
Laurence Perrine, Sound and Sense. Go to a used book store and see if you can find the Harcourt, Brace 3rd edition (1969). It has a superb selction of poems, plus some great explanations of metrics, devices, and the like."

I have acquired a copy of the 8th ed. If you are interested we can make arrangements for me to send it to you. You can reimburse me what I paid for it: $0.

WOW! I feel really old! I've had my college copy (SECOND edition 1963) sitting on my computer desk for months now...just read this post.
