Ah what better place to get educated for free than an internet site. Since I never paid any attention during my brief tenure in the public school system I thought perhaps some of the intelligent and prolific writers here could assist me with one of my grammar questions.
Specifically I have a question about punctuation. For instance, look at the first sentence of this post and tell me if it is a question or a statement. I'm actually unsure myself. I had posed another question here that I really didn't know how to punctuate. It read "I was wondering if anyone here could loan me a hundred bucks?" Should this have been followed by a question mark or a period? Thanks.

Unintelligently Yours,

Justawful,
If I were you, I'd wait for someone else to answer your questions since I am punctuationally challenged! But, I do know that whenever one requests money, as I am an authority on this subject, it should always be followed by an exclaimation point to indicate the seriousness of the matter.

As far as the use of commas, semicolons, apostrophies and hyphens are concerned.......I haven't a clue, and it shows!( followed by exclaimation point to idicate the seriousness of the matter) Big Grin
