Hello and welcome to Current Events!

We have come up with some introductory rules but they are far from set in stone. As the moderator, I would be interested in any feedback regarding this forum and the way it will run – just drop me a line, ok? I’ll be glad to consider any suggestions.

For now, try to look at it as like a debate competition but with only one post per member. As such, do any research necessary on the topic while remembering you have one shot only at making your point. Please try not to over-compensate by posting extremely lengthy posts or too many links (Yes, relevant links are allowed).

The Golden rule is: Keep It Friendly, please. We want to maintain the family atmosphere of the site; we’re all here on WD to enjoy the company of others, I believe, and as such, let’s try to disagree rather than fall out!

As can be seen, the rules have been revised, as they will be as uncertainties arise or demands change.
