BBC Report -
Zimbabwe's authorities halt campaigning by opposition head Morgan Tsvangirai, citing alleged security fears: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7440237.stm For decades Robert Mugabe was the laughing stock of Africa, but in the last several years all that laughing has stopped...replaced instead by a growing internal and international anger. This joke of a leader has used the state police and armed forces to trample on individual and collective rights, steal personal property/lands and then either take them for himself or distribute them to his cronies. Mugabe's political henchman have also done well by him over the years with the handouts (at the expense of the mostly impoverished citizens) allowing them to live a life of luxury they could otherwise only fantasize about. This idiot's feeble attempts (excuses) at explaining his despotic actions have drawn scorn from all quarters of the world. After losing a presidential election earlier this year monumental efforts were made by his camp to thwart and the subvert the results, resulting in a so called "run off" election now just weeks away. Over the years not one of his fabricated reasons could even save a 5 year old from a well deserved spanking yet he actually believes that the rest of the globe is gullible enough to fall for the verbal excrement he spews. And certainly no one is better at feigning a pained indignance at his political rebuffings than Robert Mugabe. Perhaps the worst part of it, though, is the fact that Mugabe simply doesn't care how much suffering he inflicts on the people of Zimbabwe. The recent banning of food aid distribution by relief organisations, saying the agencies were helping the opposition, was just yet another example of this self-indulgent dictator trying to further prevent his possible fall from power. When the country's current harvest runs out in a few months there will be mass starvation throughout the nation, but this is certainly nothing that Mugabe is going to worry about in the least. Right now he's only concerned with saving his political ass. If it wasn't all such a sinister, high stakes game it would be the joke of the century, but there is nothing funny about what is going on in Zimbabwe today. I have absolutely no reservations about bashing this braindead, imbecillic knuckle dragging cretin at every opportunity presented to me, never have, and he never lets me go long without a fresh opportunity to do so. But I guess my question is: When will the world have had its fill of Mugabe and his political whores? Ron ... Hey Matonga (speaking of political whores)...got something you wanna say to me? ______________________________________________________________________ 6/14/08 Here's another piece that deserves reading: A glimpse of Mugabe terror ... Yes, and many other travel books. Right now it is interesting because he is in the area where all of the trouble is.
