Something’s wrong
11-10-09 Nails chipped cracked and split think my back slipped a disk. Feet are flat hurt like hell hemorrhoids itch and swell. Knees in pain toenails thick neck is stiff got a crick. Eyes weak hair’s all gone beginning to think something’s wrong. Bowels are loose got the flu called the Doc. said it’s true. Took some Meds. allergic that thought I’d die just got fat. Teeth fell out all but one chewing gum ain’t no fun. Stop me if you’ve heard this song, but I’m almost sure… something’s wrong! J.C. Hill |

Stop you? Hell, I'm living it along with you Jack! I really needed a laugh today, even at my own expense. The only problem is that my whole left side hurts and laughing makes it hurt worse temporarily -- but it's worth it.
You are so versatile in subject, form, rhymed, blank verse, as well as the emotions that you evoke every time you put pen to paper. Humor was the order of the day for me. I'm glad it was for you too. “Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.” Mark Twain |

I’ve been laid up for the most of three days with a pain in my right knee, thus this poem.
The first stanza I dedicate to my wife and all the ladies who had the 'pleasure' of child birth. Thanks Becky for enjoying this little poem. Jack |

This poem is a goodern. Here lately I've been limping due to a knee injury and also nursing a lower back injury as well. I am 52 going on 80 but today I feel as strong as seasoned hickory.
Due to my physical injuries and physical limitations I retired from big game hunting on 11-21-09. 129 white tailed deer. 36 wild turkeys 4 black bears 4 wild hogs 1 ram |

Tough retiring from something you love, I know the feeling well. I gave up construction when I was 74. Built my son’s home and that was it. Now I’m 80, remembering when.
