The sun fails to shine,
so clouded is the view.
It’s hard to see your colours,
when all I see is blue.
Bitter, this present void
and dismal the unknown.
So easy just to love you...
so hard to be alone.

When I saw the title, I could not bear to read it immediately because I sensed it may strike a little too close my mood. Finally tonight, I got the nerve to read it. It is good that I waited. Even now it brings tears to my eyes and I feel the pain of which you speak.

I cannot imagine a more beautiful or effective way to express it than you have done. May your blue become paler and paler.....hugs to you all.

You will be with us this Christmas season whether you visit or not. This most lovely sad peom expresses what too many are feeling at thsi time. I have lost two dear friends this year and am feeling the losses acutely. Not everything is sunshine and roses...may this year be better for you and yours.
