"Some Days..."

Some days it's hardly worth the time
To even touch my bloody pen
To even try to make a rhyme
Some days it's hardly worth the time
The pump's impossible to prime
And meter lies beyond my ken
Some days it's hardly worth the time
To even touch my bloody pen

You may not think it's worth it, but you touch your pen and out comes a Triolet!! Pretty darn good, if you ask me! So good to see your name popping up again~~you've been missed.

Me some times when we want something cool from the well we come up dry,
then as if by magic it begins to flow. Your cup ran full and spilled over with
this beautiful triolet.

How lucky I am to be offered a sip.

Me...you’ve captured beautifully that which is the scourge of every writer and poet from the beginning of time...and have written it in a Triolet no less.

Bloody good job! Big Grin

flutterbug - Thanks ! Nice to feel appreciated, just do not write as often now.

MoMule - Thank you. The triolet still holds a special place for me as the first classic form I really tried to learn.

Lionheart - Thanks kind sir !
