(My very rushed attempt at a holiday acrostic)

Hearths are warm with friends and fire,
Aglow with light and love's desire.
Peace on Earth, goodwill toward all;
Pleasant sounds from carolers call.
Yuletide greetings we now extend;
Happy holidays to family and friends.
On the mantle, stockings were hung;
Lights on the tree where tinsel was flung.
It is "the season to be jolly,
Deck the halls with boughs of holly".
And under the mistletoe, bestow a kiss...
Your lover awaits,
Smiling with bliss.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL! Deer Holly santahat

flutterbug, you are the apple of my eye.

The mistletoe is more myth than reality these days...*sigh*

Happy Holidays to you, flutter, and MAY THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS BE WITH YOU ALWAYS.

Flutter,
You should get in a rush more often.

Less we forget we need only to read and remember.

Joyous Christmas.

Dearest flutter,

After reading jr's holiday gift, I thought to go back and look at previous Christmas posts and found this gem. Its sentiment seems to be coming ever closer...have a happy one dear friend.

Wow! I so seldom write in rhyme that I had forgotten all about this one. Instead, I found an old unrhymed Christmas acrostic and posted it on the other site I frequent. This one would have been much better. My memory sure anin't what it used to be!

Thanks, Keith, for reading this after the holiday...I apologize for not responding sooner...somehow I missed it. Thank you, too, for not totally abandoning WD. Hopefully if we hang around here long enough, the lost sheep will come back home.
